Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our virtualized infrastructure team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with expertise in designing and managing complex systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust security standards and compliance protocols.
  • Contribute to infrastructure design and architecture planning, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Implement automation using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to optimize system performance.
  • Monitor systems and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with service owners to evolve service offerings, meeting business needs.
  • Own the day-to-day operations and strategic evolution of VMware infrastructure, including ESXi, vSAN, vCenter, Nutanix, and Dell VxRail platforms.
  • Lead or contribute to Root Cause Analysis efforts for critical incidents.
  • Design and execute disaster recovery plans and high availability configurations.
  • Test and document failover strategies.

We expect our ideal candidate to be a seasoned expert with extensive experience in managing complex virtualized infrastructure. The successful applicant will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience OR Diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record managing complex virtual infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and regulated environments.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, capacity planning, and HA/DR configurations.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Hands-on expertise in scripting and automation tools.
