We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in property acquisition for large-format retail stores. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and acquiring high-quality retail spaces in high-footfall locations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate potential properties for new store locations across key markets.
  • Conduct market research to analyze demographic, competitor presence, and location viability.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial real estate opportunities.
  • Negotiate lease terms and manage the end-to-end lease finalization process.
  • Collaborate with legal, design, projects, and finance teams for smooth handover and setup.
  • Track and report on progress of acquisitions, approvals, and handovers.
  • Monitor market trends and stay up to date with zoning laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field.
  • 7–12 years of experience in business development, specifically in property acquisition for large-format retail stores (furniture, apparel, electronics, supermarkets, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate market dynamics.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

A willingness to travel extensively is required. Preferred industry experience includes Retail (Large Format), Furniture & Home Decor, FMCG / Consumer Durables, and Real Estate / Property Leasing.
