Job Title: Design Engineer for Plastic Products

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and experience working with plastic tool makers and injection molders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing plastic products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams.

The design engineer will also be responsible for ensuring that all designs are optimized for manufacturability, assembly, and maintenance. This will involve conducting thorough analysis and testing to ensure that the final product meets the required quality and performance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CAD Experience: Proven experience working with CAD software, specifically Creo.
  • Plastic Design Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of plastic design principles, including part design, GD&T, and SPI standards.
  • Design for Manufacturability: Expertise in designing products that are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in creative problem-solving and able to think outside the box.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional stakeholders.
