As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in this process, working closely with our international investors to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet our high standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in plastic design, with experience in two-wheeler or four-wheeler product development. They should also be well-versed in manufacturing aspects, including injection moulding processes and engineering plastic material selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design plastic trims using CATIA V5 software.
  • Work with our structures team to define mounting strategies for trims.
  • Coordinate with our testing team for component validation.
  • Maintain and conduct FMEA for plastic trims and associated parts.
  • Conduct tolerance stack up analysis to meet fit and finish requirements.
  • Liaison between industrial design and body works teams for engineering solutions.
  • Draft, release, and maintain drawings of plastic trims in 3Ds PLM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conclude on the best engineering solution for plastic trims.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in plastic design with a focus on two-wheeler or four-wheeler product development.
  • Relevant knowledge of PLM platforms like 3Ds.
  • Good understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Serviceability (DFS).
  • Well-versed in manufacturing aspects of injection moulding processes.
  • Basic understanding of plastic mould flow analysis.
  • Well-versed in engineering plastic material selection and properties.
