As a Senior Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for designing plastic components using CATIA V5 software. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the testing team to validate the components' performance.

  • Maintain and conduct Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) for plastic trims and associated parts.
  • Conduct tolerance stack up analysis to meet fit and finish requirements specified.
  • Liaison between the industrial design team and body works team for arriving at engineering solutions.
  • Draft, release, and maintain drawings of plastic trims in 3D PLM.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to conclude on the best-suited engineering solution for plastic trims.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in plastic design, preferably with involvement in two-wheeler or four-wheeler product development.
  • Well-versed in manufacturing aspects of Injection moulding processes.
  • Basic understanding of plastic mould flow analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of engineering plastic material selection and properties.
