Job Opportunity: Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage our complex corporate IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • No less than 5 years of experience in a corporate IT environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL High Availability technologies, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and management specifically related to SQL Server.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and writing complex queries.
  • Previous experience supporting other critical technologies such as MS Exchange, Active Directory, Operating System (MS Server & Citrix hosting) AV Protection, Monitoring and configuration Systems (SQL Monitor, SCOM, SCCM), Virtualisation (VMware), Storage (HP Sans) and Support, IT Security (Websense, F5, and Dell Secureworks etc.) and Web Infrastructure.

Apart from technical skills, the candidate should also have:

  • Experience working within a financial services organisation.
  • Previous experience of Data/DevOps including continuous integration.
  • Previous experience of migrating between versions of SQL Server.
