Job Title: Postgre SQL DBA cum Developer Location: Jaipur (Onsite) Experience: Minimum 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Postgre SQL DBA cum Developer with strong expertise in managing, developing, and optimizing Postgre SQL databases in Linux / open SUSE environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced Postgre SQL tools such as Timescale DB and Postgre SQL toolkits, ensuring high performance, availability, and scalability of critical database systems.

Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage Postgre SQL databases in Linux/open SUSE environments.

Design, develop, and optimize database schemas, queries, functions, and stored procedures.

Implement Timescale DB for handling time-series data and ensure optimal performance.

Utilize Postgre SQL toolkits and extensions for monitoring, optimization, and automation.

Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.

Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and high availability (HA/DR) strategies.

Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and replication issues.

Collaborate with application developers for efficient database design and integration.

Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

Maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and technical guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as a Postgre SQL DBA and Developer.

Strong expertise in Postgre SQL administration & development.

Proficiency in working on Linux/open SUSE environments.

Hands-on experience with Timescale DB for time-series data management.

Knowledge of Postgre SQL toolkits and extensions for monitoring and optimization.

Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and partitioning.

Strong knowledge of backup & recovery tools, replication, and clustering.

Familiarity with scripting (Shell/Python) for automation.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have: Exposure to cloud environments (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure Postgre SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for databases.

Knowledge of monitoring tools like pg Admin, Prometheus, Grafana.
