Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Senior Data Engineer
with expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and database knowledge, solid coding experience, and a solution-oriented approach to problem solving. Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS, will be a key advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to manage and process large volumes of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Optimize SQL queries, database structures, and data models for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, etc.) for data engineering solutions and deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines with root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with DevOps/infra teams for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of data jobs.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in any object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
  • Coding and Data Structures & Algorithms (Preferred).
  • Strong SQL and Database Knowledge (Mandatory).
  • AWS: Hands-on experience with services like S3 and Redshift.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
  • Bonus: Experience in Ruby.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data/ETL-focused roles.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts and performance tuning.
  • Solution-Centric Mindset.
