We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Database Tester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute complex test cases focused on database validation and backend testing.
  • Develop, optimize and maintain advanced SQL queries to ensure data integrity and business logic compliance.
  • Perform thorough analysis of application workflows and integrate applications with underlying databases through comprehensive testing.
  • Identify, track and report issues using test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.
  • Collaborate with developers, DBAs and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve technical challenges.
  • Prepare detailed test documentation including test cases, execution results and defect reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of database testing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on database testing.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, joins, stored procedures and functions.
  • Strong experience in data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems.
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to handle client interactions independently.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
