Job Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to spearhead the organization's fundraising efforts across high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporate and CSR initiatives, foundations in India and internationally, and digital/community giving. The ideal candidate will deliver predictable, diversified funding and lifetime donor value while strengthening the organization's brand as a thought leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a 3-year strategic plan for fundraising with targets by segment and program.
  • Manage the full donor lifecycle, from research to stewardship and renewal/upgrade.
  • Design multi-year giving vehicles, including anchor gifts, challenge funds, catalytic grants, cause marketing, events, and peer-to-peer campaigns.
  • Foster relationships with diverse stakeholders, including corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks.
  • Collaborate with communications to run an integrated brand and fundraising calendar.
  • Oversee investment-grade proposals, decks, and impact reports to ensure compelling narratives and strong evidence.
  • Establish clear standard operating procedures, approval matrices, and data hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian and international requirements, including child safeguarding and ethical fundraising standards.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; fundraising certifications an advantage.
  • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record in major-gifts and institutional fundraising (India and internationally).
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives, particularly in research, education, skill development, and community empowerment.
  • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency in G-Suite and CRM software.
