Key Responsibilities

  1. Fundraising & Resource Mobilization

  2. Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan with clear targets and milestones.

  3. Identify, research, and engage potential corporate CSR partners, HNIs, philanthropic foundations, and international funding agencies.
  4. Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and sponsorship decks that align with donor priorities.
  5. Lead negotiations and closing of funding agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  6. Organize high-impact fundraising events, donor meets, and charity initiatives.

  7. Explore innovative digital and community-driven fundraising platforms.

  8. Strategic Partnerships

  9. Build and nurture partnerships with corporates, industry bodies, sports federations, and NGOs to enhance funding opportunities.

  10. Leverage relationships for co-branded initiatives, grant opportunities, and sponsorships.

  11. Develop multi-year partnership agreements to ensure sustainable support.

  12. Donor Relationship Management

  13. Maintain a detailed donor and partner database with engagement history and follow-up actions.

  14. Provide regular impact updates, financial reports, and recognition activities to maintain donor trust.
  15. Ensure excellent post-engagement stewardship for repeat funding opportunities.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven success in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development (preferably in sports or non-profit sectors).
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with corporates, philanthropists, and funding agencies.
  • Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CSR regulations, grant-making processes, and sports funding structures in India.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Fundraising, Sports Management, or related field.
  • 8 – 12 years of proven fundraising and partnerships experience.
  • Prior work in sports development or non-profit fundraising is an advantage.
