Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our cost estimation process for large-scale projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate assessment of quantities and material costs, reviewing and validating cost estimates, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing junior quantity surveyors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the quantity surveying process for projects, ensuring accurate assessment of quantities and material costs.
  • Review and validate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads, aligning with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather data for cost estimation.
  • Oversee and mentor junior quantity surveyors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of their work.
  • Prepare final cost reports and support the estimation manager in presenting estimates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying, focusing on large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team management skills.
