Job Overview

We are seeking a professional who will handle end-to-end procurement of electrical items, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Prepare RFQs, price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project requirements.
  • Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
  • Ensure purchases are made within budget and in compliance with company procurement guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years of procurement experience in an electrical industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
