Job Title: Land Acquisition Professional

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Professional to spearhead our land sourcing and acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing land parcels in targeted micro-markets, evaluating feasibility, engaging with brokers and landowners, and facilitating the entire acquisition and closing process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Sourcing: Identify and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets.
  • Network Development: Build and maintain a strong network of brokers, landowners, developers, and other intermediaries.
  • Market Tracking: Actively track market opportunities and upcoming transactions.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct initial due diligence, including land title, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  • Feasibility Studies: Coordinate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments.
  • Alignment Assessment: Assess alignment of land parcels with our product design and business model.
  • Stakeholder Management: Organize and facilitate meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams.
  • Transaction Execution: Work with legal counsel, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Documentation and Closure: Facilitate documentation, compliance, and closure of acquisition transactions.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, architecture, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment.
  • Strong knowledge of Mumbai development control regulations and land acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions.
  • Established network with brokers, landowners, and developers in MMR.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
