Job Title

Conversational AI Engineer: A Career in Voice Interface Development


As a Conversational AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing conversational flows to create seamless voice interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop: Translate business requirements into structured dialogue flows, handling multiple branches, edge cases, and real-life conversation patterns.
  2. Agent Integration: Integrate RetellAI agents with external platforms via Make.com and/or n8n.
  3. Debugging and Testing: Debug, test, and refine agent behavior to ensure high performance and reliability.
  4. Documentation and Best Practices: Document workflows and provide best practices for scalable agent builds.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with the internal team to deliver client-ready solutions.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in conversational AI, automation, or related fields.
  • Expertise: Proven expertise with RetellAI.com, specifically in conversational flow creation.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with Make.com and/or n8n for workflow automation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of webhooks, JSON, HTTP requests, APIs, and integrations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Portfolio: Evidence of completed projects (portfolio, demos, or case studies) showing real conversational flows.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent English communication skills.

  • Integration Experience: Experience integrating with CRMs, booking platforms, or call management systems.
  • Broad Perspective: Familiarity with other AI platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Voiceflow, etc.) for broader perspective.
