Job Opportunity: Associate Vice President – Finance

Overview:

Our organization seeks an exceptional AVP - Finance to spearhead our financial function. This leadership position entails overall responsibility for finance strategy, cash flow management, investor relations, reporting, taxation, fundraising, and compliance. Additionally, the successful candidate will actively engage in financial structuring, forecasting, and operational finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Operational Finance: Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and structuring to ensure seamless operations.
  • Accounting, Audit & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate closure of books (Indian GAAP) and supervise statutory, tax, and internal audits.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Own investor documents, financial models, decks, and data rooms.
  • Banking & Treasury: Foster proactive relationships with banks and lenders and manage treasury operations to maintain liquidity.
  • Vendor & Cost Management: Govern vendor contracts, negotiate fees, and manage payouts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance roles
  • Strong background in VC fundraising, due diligence, and modeling
  • Experience in hospitality, real estate, or venture-backed startups
  • Hands-on with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and financial software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks
  • High ownership, strategic mindset, and ability to thrive in founder-led environments
