
Senior Kitchen Operations Coordinator

Job Overview:
A Senior Kitchen Team Member oversees food preparation and participates in kitchen operations, ensuring quality and adhering to safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards, maintain portion control and present dishes attractively, assist in menu planning and development.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, manage the performance of kitchen team members, ensure all staff adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
- Inventory Management: Check stock levels and order supplies as needed, monitor food costs and identify areas for improvement, ensure proper storage and rotation of food items.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly, adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Additional Duties: Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, participate in menu planning and seasonal offerings, collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative dishes.
Requirements:
- Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role, strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks, ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
