Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to supervise and coordinate activities in our kitchen. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to develop skills and knowledge necessary for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties according to established policies and procedures.
  • Supervise workstation activities, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food products.
  • Train and monitor junior staff, providing on-the-job training and guidance.
  • Conduct inventory and requisition food items as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to health and safety protocols, including HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
  • Operate and maintain equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in cleaning workstations during and after meal preparation.
  • Attend meetings and training activities as required.
  • Demonstrate ability to take over other assigned stations as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service.
  • Previous experience as Chef De Partie/Demi Chef De Partie is advantageous.
  • Culinary school degree is required.
  • Strong management, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior customer service, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing personalized services.
  • Intermediate computer software skills required.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
