Software Development Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Software Development Team Lead to spearhead full stack development, design scalable solutions, and drive technical excellence across projects.

About the Role

As a Software Development Team Lead, you will take ownership of backend architecture and development, guide a team of engineers, and deliver high-performance applications. You will work on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Laravel, WordPress, and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead backend development using modern PHP frameworks and Laravel
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems architecture
  • Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel and modern PHP frameworks
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks
  • Proficiency in:
  • PHP, Java, ReactJS, Node.js
  • MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB
  • CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git)
  • Cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple clients
