Job Opportunity

A systems analyst position is available to support the Xstore POS application.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications for the POS application and work closely with cross-functional teams. They will also be responsible for ensuring production data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness, building and optimizing monitoring and alerting capabilities across multiple integrations, automating report generation in Power BI, Splunk, etc., and understanding the architecture of applications and technology stack to recommend strategies ensuring SLAs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and create technical specifications for the POS application.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Maintain high levels of data quality and accuracy.
  • Implement effective monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Automate report generation to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assess and improve application architecture.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Knowledge of POS hardware and software integration.
