Our team seeks an experienced Senior Hosting Specialist to collaborate with us

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the stability of our products using internal tools and metrics.
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for hosting products (cpanel, plesk, vps, cloud, dedicated) to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Evaluate and escalate complex issues according to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to address production site issues efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly on tickets and calls regarding various issues.
  • Prioritize resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop advanced automation workflows to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team to deploy and maintain Linux and Windows servers using automated scripts and standardized runbooks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting, and essential command-line tools.
  • Fundamentals: Basic DNS and Networking, TCP/UDP, IP Routing, High Availability, and Load Balancing Concepts.
  • Application Protocols: SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP.

  • Understanding of Cloud technologies.
  • Systems/Hardware knowledge: RAID, LOM, IPMI, Dell Hardware.
  • Windows expertise: WMI, Powershell, MS-SQL fundamentals.
  • Applications: Postfix, qmail, Exim, Database Systems Fundamentals (MySQL, Postgres), Nginx/Apache, Tomcat.
  • Tools/Utilities: Nagios, DHCP, Kickstart/Cobbler, Yum, RPM, GIT/SVN.
  • Certification: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), GCP.
