Enterprise Risk Manager Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing operational risks across various departments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate operational risks, developing risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify potential operational risks, leveraging analytical skills and industry expertise.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize adverse impacts on the organization.
  • Ensure the implementation of risk controls and compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of accountability and responsibility.
  • Monitor operational risk indicators and metrics, preparing and presenting risk reports to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Manage regular risk meetings with senior stakeholders and review RCSAs and KRIs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in the development and updating of operational risk policies and procedures, ensuring they remain aligned with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as management, finance, accounting, or a related area.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a risk management role, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment.
  • Proven experience in operational risk and knowledge of operational risk management framework.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, logical reasoning ability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with PowerBI or similar data analytics platforms is a plus.
