Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our risk-based internal audit initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing annual internal audit plans that align with business priorities and risk assessments.

Key responsibilities include leading the identification and selection of vendors for program activities, executing internal audits in accordance with approved plans, and conducting functional audits to promote efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on open internal audit observations, driving follow-up audits to assess management's remediation efforts, and establishing and maintaining internal audit SOPs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (Essential Education)
  • CIA, CISA, CWA (Desired Education)
  • 10-15 years of experience in implementing, delivering, and embedding risk management at strategic and operational levels
  • Proven experience undertaking audits across diverse areas of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface and influence all levels of management
