This role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact as a key member of our team.
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Vendor Administrator to join our Supplier and Vendor Management team.
This individual will be responsible for determining methods and procedures on new assignments, analyzing and resolving issues with vendor related processes and data, and maintaining functional documentation by validating and updating User Guides, SOPs, and procedural check lists.
The ideal candidate will have solid administrative experience, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and strong analytical skills.
In addition to administrative tasks, this role will also involve supporting supplier/vendor relations team members with any project requirements and assisting with negotiations and improving contract and onboarding processes.
This position requires a team player with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing team requirements, and maintain accurate and detailed records for sourcing activities, vendor assessments, and vendor monitoring/management plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Responds to supplier/vendor queries
- Enters supplier/vendor records onto the relevant platform according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Analyses and resolves issues with vendor related processes and data
- Maintains functional documentation by validating and updating User Guides, SOPs, and procedural check lists
- Supports supplier/vendor relations team members with any administrative / ad hoc project requirements
- Assists with supplier/vendor negotiations and improve contract and onboarding processes
- Maintains accurate and detailed records for sourcing activities, vendor assessments, and vendor monitoring/management plans
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Skilled at managing administrative tasks
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to changing team requirements
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written)
- Has solid team leader ability
- Solid understanding of preferred vendors
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Working towards completion of an ITIL certification is preferable
- Solid demonstrated administrative experience preferably gained within an Internal Technology organization
- Solid demonstrated experience dealing with preferred vendors
