
Land Acquisition and Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Leader to drive our client's growth journey, leveraging strategic land acquisitions, partnerships, and transformational business initiatives.
This role combines strategic leadership with deep market expertise, where you will guide acquisitions, develop alliances, and enable our organization to seize large-scale opportunities that redefine our market positioning.
About the Role:
- Lead and mentor a team of senior professionals across India to drive land acquisition and business development initiatives.
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire strategic land parcels from sourcing to transaction closure and handover for development.
- Build and present business cases for new initiatives, partnerships, and alliances; influence board-level decision-making.
- Maintain and expand relationships with international property consultants (IPCs), channel partners, and key market stakeholders to stay ahead of trends.
- Oversee transaction management including opportunity pipeline creation, financial viability assessment, commercial negotiations, and agreement finalisation.
- Collaborate with investment funds and developers on JV/JD opportunities, pre-leased assets, and land acquisitions, particularly in North India.
Your Background:
- 20-30 years of leadership experience in business development, land acquisition, and strategic growth within the real estate sector.
- Proven track record with leading real estate brands.
- Strong understanding of bye-laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory processes governing land and project development.
- Expertise in financial viability analysis, business planning, and board-level presentations.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for strategic and financial analysis.
