As a key member of our organization, we are seeking an experienced Legal Professional to handle various aspects of litigation and corporate law.

About the Role
  • This role involves preparation for trials and hearings, including drafting Notices, Plaints, Written Statements, Synopsis and organizing evidence and exhibits.
  • You will collaborate with external counsels on case strategy and pleadings, maintaining cause-lists tracker and keeping management updated on the status of cases.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and documentation, attend hearings, and take adjournments/ certified copies etc., as and when needed.
  • Handle authorities visiting the company's premises, visit police station to file case/ FIR, etc. as required, and coordinate end-to-end process for Registration of Agreements in Sub Registrar's Office.
  • Peruse Notices received from any customer, police, Govt. department, vendor, etc. and draft responses by coordinating with relevant departments, represent before the authority as in-house counsel.
  • Actively coordinate with other functional areas for day-to-day legal matters such as issuance of notices, recovery of payments, disciplinary actions, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, vetting, negotiating and settling corporate agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, customer agreements, vendor agreements, channel partner agreements, etc.
  • Preparing and discussing strategies with management and external counsels to defend the company's legal cases.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience handling litigations in a reputable law firm or corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Livelaw, Manu Patra, Westlaw, LexisNexis).
