We are seeking an accomplished Senior Operations Manager to oversee the service operations for our SMT equipment. This individual will have a strong focus on technical leadership, customer management, and team supervision to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of hands-on experience in SMT processes, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, particularly with Fuji equipment. A bachelor's degree or diploma in electronics/electrical/mechatronics engineering is required, along with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

This role requires the ability to lead service operations for SMT machines, primarily Fuji platforms (e.g., NXT, NXTR series). Key responsibilities include installing, commissioning, and supporting Fuji SMT lines at customer sites with minimal downtime. The successful candidate will also supervise a team of field service engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.

Additional responsibilities include acting as a technical escalation point for complex service and maintenance issues, conducting preventive maintenance programs and audits to ensure optimal machine performance, maintaining strong communication with Fuji Japan for technical updates and escalations, coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, and Engineering) for seamless customer support, and ensuring compliance with all EHS and quality standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in SMT industry, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience with Fuji SMT machines
  • In-depth knowledge of Fuji platforms: NXTR, NXT series, feeders, placement heads, and vision systems
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and SMT process optimization is a plus
