Accounting Operations Specialist">

As an Accounting Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive accounting services to our manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate monthly financial statements and analyze manufacturing costs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
  • Evaluating and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger
  • Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses

You will also be responsible for tracking and managing inventory, including conducting audits, reconciliations, and analyses. Additionally, you will ensure that inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Providing operations with financial analysis and thorough reporting of plant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Assisting with the weekly financial estimate and working with operations to resolve variances

Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and overseeing all regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications we seek in you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CPA/CMA preferred
  • Relevant years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory experience may be required for managerial roles
