We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting reconciliation tasks, including matching sub-ledger to ledger accounts and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile sub-ledger to ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Assist source code owners with error and outstanding journals in sub-ledgers.
- Report manual journal entries that are currently outstanding in sub-ledger, along with their various stages of approval.
- Support the Financial System Strategy team in the Audit Coordination process, which includes acquiring, formatting, and reconciling US business policy-level accounting and non-accounting data files required for audit purposes.
- Run the Cognos data refresh process, where multiple powerplay cubes are downloaded via a macro and saved on the shared drive for further working on multiple reports by respective stakeholders.
- Perform research analysis in data refresh reports.
- Have knowledge on how to create Journal Entries in sub-ledger.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
