Legislative Policy Associate

Job Overview:

This role offers an opportunity to bridge policy and political insights, drive meaningful impact, and develop expertise in legislative analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of national and international policies, programs, and information for policy briefs.
  • Consult with sectoral experts and organizations to gain a deeper understanding of policy landscapes.
  • Analyze data, think critically, and solve complex problems to inform policy decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current affairs in the social and policy sectors, including parliamentary proceedings and committee activities.
  • Assist team members in developing client deliverables, such as policy reports and recommendations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including organizing meetings, creating agendas, and distributing meeting notes.

Necessary Qualifications/Skills:

  • Pursuing a Master's Degree in Economics/Engineering with policy certifications or law with statistical understanding.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Law/Political Science/Economics/Public Policy from renowned institutions or any other related field.
  • Advanced research skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of legislative processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and Hindi.
  • Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, presentation tools, and word processors.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Indian politics and democracy.
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and data analysis software.
  • Proficiency in research and policy analysis tools.
