Job Title: Public Policy Researcher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Policy Researcher. In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct in-depth research and analysis on legislation, policies, and reports. You will work closely with our team of experts to produce high-quality recommendations, analyses, and suggestions for stakeholders at the central and state level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct original, cutting-edge research and analysis on legislation, policies, and reports.
  • Work closely with the team to produce high-quality recommendations, analyses, and suggestions for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with sectoral experts and organisations.
  • Stay up-to-date with current affairs in the social and policy sector.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing Masters' Degree in Economics/Engineers with policy certifications or lawyers with statistical understanding.
  • Pursuing Bachelors' Degree in Law/Political Science/Economics/Public Policy from renowned Institutions or any other related field.
  • Advanced research skills and analytical skills.
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills.
  • Understanding of Parliament and Legislative Assemblies functioning.

Bonus Skills:

  • Basic understanding of politics and the nature of India's democracy.
  • Knowledge of Statistical tools such as STAT, MATLAB etc.
