About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager for Cloud Computing, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services within the Venture Capital community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify key Venture Capital firms with portfolio companies that have infrastructure needs, and drive engagement with those organizations.
  • Execute the strategic business development plan while working closely with internal stakeholders such as sales teams, marketing, legal, and support.
  • Work closely with Venture Capital firms and their portfolio companies to ensure they are successful using our web services, providing technical resources as needed.
  • Implement and manage reporting systems to track the effectiveness of efforts to target companies in the portfolios of Venture Capital firms.
  • Develop relationships with senior partners at Venture Capital firms and CxOs and founders of startups.

The team is composed of individuals with significant experience in India's startup ecosystem. They possess a deep understanding of the system and empathize with founders, having worked as investors, founders, or holding key positions in large organizations.

About the Location:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as or member of the senior management team in a startup, or equivalent experience in venture capital roles.
  • Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts, including compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, and higher-order services.
  • Ability to differentiate among various AWS services and provide insights at the CXO level.
  • Proven ability to build trust and bond at the CXO level of promising startups.
