Job Title: Absence Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Absence Management Specialist to drive the design, configuration, and ongoing support of absence solutions globally.

  • Configure, test, and maintain global absence plans, accruals, time-off policies, Proration calculations, and eligibility rules in Workday.
  • Specialize in EMEA absence policies (maternity, parental, sick leave, statutory leaves, etc.), ensuring compliance with local country regulations.
  • Support enhancements, release updates, and optimization of existing absence processes.
About the Role

This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, and regional business stakeholders to ensure compliance with country-specific leave regulations while delivering scalable and user-friendly absence solutions globally.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Absence Configuration

Configure and test absence plans, accruals, time-off policies, Proration calculations, and eligibility rules in Workday.

EMEA Absence Expertise

Develop in-depth knowledge of EMEA absence policies, including maternity, parental, sick leave, and statutory leaves, to ensure compliance with local country regulations.

Process Optimization

Continuously evaluate and optimize existing absence processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
