Workday Absence Consultant

As a seasoned Workday expert, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing absence management solutions for our esteemed clients. Your role will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to orchestrate and execute governance frameworks.
  • Conduct workshops to identify, analyze, and specify absence management requirements, ensuring seamless integration with business needs.
  • Draft functional specifications and configure the Workday Absence Management module, leveraging your hands-on experience and expertise.
  • Monitor progress and ensure configurations align with business objectives, delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Define and execute testing scenarios to validate absence management solutions, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting optimized configurations.
  • Support deployment and provide user assistance during the transition to Workday Absence, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruptions.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to users, contributing to change management initiatives and empowering stakeholders with the knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for configurations and processes, maintaining accurate records and facilitating future reference.
  • Work closely with HR, payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of absence management processes, fostering strong relationships and driving collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Workday Absence Management projects, including implementation, support, or migration.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the Workday Absence module, with a strong understanding of HR processes and compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse and dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
