### Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function, driving process improvements to meet internal and external service delivery expectations.

### Key Responsibilities

* Lead payroll functions, including end-to-end payroll operations from employee master creation, salary release, and reimbursement accounting with GL scrutiny and P&L analysis.
* Review and release salary to employee bank accounts, as well as reimbursement of travel and other business-related expenses.
* Share budget vs. actual variance reports with management, including the impact on P&L accounts.
* Prepare the CXO dashboard with functional-level travel expenses incurred during the month and YTD.
* Collaborate with business partnering teams on a monthly and annual basis for SBP preparation.
* Explore and implement automation/simplification of existing processes to save time and manual efforts.
* Adhere to IC COE controls and report on any exceptions identified.
* Complete compliance reports/checklists for statutory compliance-related matters, ensuring timely payment of statutory dues and submission of returns.
* Serve as the SPOC for functional heads and HRBPs on payroll-related matters.
* Mentor and guide the team to achieve deliverables with process improvements.

### Requirements

* At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in payroll services, preferably in payroll management.
* Knowledge of income tax laws and PF, bonus, gratuity, and other laws related to employees.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to handle big data and work with Google applications and MS Office tools like Excel and Word.
* Hands-on experience with SAP is a plus.
