
Regional Growth Manager

As a Regional Growth Manager, you will play a key role in driving the strategy and execution of Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) businesses in your region. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and strategic planning skills, with a proven track record of success in managing and growing SME portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic/Managerial Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic plans to achieve business objectives, aligned with the organization's overall goals.
- Supports the development of workforce plans by providing inputs on departmental forecasts, ensuring that talent pipelines are adequately resourced.
- Manages and controls operating frameworks for departments, providing guidance and support, and ensuring implementation and review of work processes to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement.
Core Responsibilities:
- Driving growth strategies for SME businesses in the region, aligned with business targets.
- Develops yearly Business Development Plans, in line with the organization's strategy, to drive growth for SME clients in the region.
- Achieves target set in yearly budget for new and existing clients, while managing budgets and financials related to these targets.
- Articulates region-specific strategies for product growth, liaising with the Product Development Team to ensure alignment.
- People and team management, including career management, coaching, and mentoring of critical talent in the team.
- Formulation of recruitment and resourcing strategies, such as location strategies.
- Reviews and coordinates quality principles and processes, ensuring compliance.
- Sponsors quality standards in management initiatives, ensuring stringent quality control measures are in place.
- Ensures minimal Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) in the region.
People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities:
- Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the department, providing mentoring for high-potential talent in the team.
- Monitors and enables achievement of goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for direct reports, ensuring effective implementation of the performance management process in the department.
- Develops talent within the department through guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to enable achievement of defined goals.
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:
- Governs implementation of risk-related policies and processes for the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
- Reviews internal control systems in line with relevant operating procedures and regulatory requirements, taking corrective action based on audit findings.
