The Pricing Analytics team at Lowe's supports pricing managers and merchants in defining and optimizing pricing strategies for various product categories.

This role involves assisting senior pricing analysts and pricing managers in developing, modeling, communicating, and tracking performance of new initiatives related to pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing cluster-specific data analytics and developing necessary dashboards, reporting, and insights.
  • Researching, designing, and developing statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (price testing, price change, post-mortem, and category review).
  • Designing and developing processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leveraging item role designation models in support of role of category and intent objectives to develop insights.
  • Developing scalable retail test processes and frameworks for design of experiment, test vs control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyzing competitor demographics and performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Performing ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the pricing team.
  • Developing executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to pricing.

This role requires a strong understanding of the business and ability to drive concepts from vision to completion with limited direction.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
