**Job Title:** Business Development Manager
">- Our ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with distributors, ensuring they are equipped to meet sales targets and expand our market presence.
- We require the selected individual to ensure that all statutory compliance and documentation requirements are met, providing a seamless experience for both internal teams and external partners.
- The chosen Business Development Manager will set ambitious sales targets for primary and secondary channels, along with specific retail store openings each month, aiming to consistently meet these goals across multiple distributors and sales executives.
- This key role involves managing sales performance among distributors and their retail networks, fostering growth by leveraging direct sales efforts as well as those of the sales resources team.
- Efficient distributor invoicing coordination, timely dispatch through our company systems, and effective collection management are also crucial aspects of this position.
- Responsible for distributor outstanding balance confirmation on a regular basis, we expect the selected individual to strictly adhere to FIFO practices while tracking outstanding balances diligently.
- Daily sales reports, weekly inventory and sales updates, and monthly sales vs. achievement reports with aging details are essential deliverables for this role.
- Directly accountable for opening and servicing high-priority retail outlets (A+ category), this Business Development Manager should focus on model mix placement and targeted product allocation.
- The successful candidate will oversee the monitoring, training, grooming, and motivation of the sales team, ensuring delivery of targeted results by providing critical support, information, and guidance.
- Strategic oversight of distributor inventory, encompassing SKUs and stock levels, is another vital responsibility.
- Effective merchandising and display of our products throughout the assigned area is expected.
- Regular analysis and summarization of sales and inventory reports, alongside competitive activity reporting to RSM/HO, are necessary tasks for this position.
- Implementing impactful sales promotions and marketing initiatives effectively and efficiently is key.
- Requirements for the ideal candidate include:
- A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in sales, preferably within the mobile accessories or related industry.
- A strong market reputation in handling distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive business forward.
- A proven track record of success in expanding market presence and driving sales growth, particularly in urban and rural areas.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with proficiency in data analysis and MIS reporting.
