Role OverviewWe seek a seasoned Business Development professional to spearhead our growth initiatives in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional pre-sales expertise and excellent communication skills in English.
The successful appointee will be responsible for devising and implementing strategies to expand business and achieve sales objectives. This entails regular meetings with hoteliers and potential prospects, cold outreach, partnerships with large hotels and organizations across the country, and fostering strong brand relationships.
The Business Development specialist will also be tasked with providing detailed sales forecasts, building pipelines with partners and team members to close deals, and expanding business from our existing client base or partners.
Key requirements for this position include:
- 1-2 years of experience in pre-sales (ecommerce preferred in both domestic and international markets)
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
- A strong commitment to ethics
- Comfort with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours
- A proven track record of meeting revenue targets
- A graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or Hotel Management (MBA an advantage)
- Ability to travel extensively
