As a seasoned Power Electronics Design Lead for our Custom Products business, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative switching converter architectures. This includes choosing optimal topologies for Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, Inverting Buck-Boost, and SIMO converters to meet the highest standards of efficiency, transient performance, and low quiescent current at high operational frequencies.
The role involves leading cross-functional teams to design and develop custom IC system solutions, including display and touch power products, charger power products, camera PMICs, power switches/muxes, LED drivers, and high-speed communication interfaces.
To succeed in this position, you will need proven experience in leading switching converter designs, a track record of pushing performance boundaries through innovation, and in-depth silicon debug expertise. You should also possess a passion for Tier 1 custom IC development and have demonstrated experience in power converter design innovation and best practices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex power converter analog circuits with multiple engineers
- Own product blocks from definition to release to manufacturing
- Manage design workloads and delegate tasks for project success
- Deliver accurate and aggressive design schedules to stakeholders
