Job Description

Lead Power Electronics Engineering Team

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our engineering team in developing innovative power electronics-based solutions for fast-growing markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for power converter development.
  • Own the full product lifecycle: architecture, simulation, design, prototyping, verification, and validation.
  • Guide the specification, modeling, and design of complex power electronics systems.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, project timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on PCB layout, mechanical design, and manufacturability.
  • Build relationships with third-party design vendors and test infrastructure partners.
  • Define and implement a technology roadmap aligned with business growth goals.
  • Recruit and develop high-performing technical talent.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering (BSEE or equivalent).

  • Master's or PhD in power electronics is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in power electronics R&D, with 7+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of power semiconductor devices: Thyristors, Si-IGBTs, SiC-MOSFETs.
  • Expertise in gate driver design, bridge rectifier design, and multi-level converter topologies.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize converters to reduce harmonics and improve efficiency.
  • Experience in EMI/EMC mitigation, thermal management, and high-voltage isolation.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware debugging, test bench setups, and system validation.
