Job Title: Line Cook

Main Responsibilities:
  • Possess advanced knife handling skills and prepare all basic food items for the menu.
  • Work efficiently and productively in any section of a kitchen.
  • Maintain a good food knowledge and understanding of culinary terms.
  • Read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes.
  • Achieve excellent results in completing tasks.
  • FOLLOW Public Health standards within their section.
  • Prepare area for inspection by maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Follow supervisor's instructions and adhere to company rules and regulations.
Financial Objectives:
  • Contain costs through proper use of resources.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years experience in upscale hotel or resort environment.
  • Culinary school degree required.
  • Strong management and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and teambuilding skills.
  • Knowledge of quality service standards and guest satisfaction techniques.
  • Intermediate computer software skills required.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and ability to write reports.

Internal Candidates: must fulfill additional requirements such as completion of one contract as Commis Cook with satisfactory performance rating and demonstrated leadership skills.
