Land Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage land-related activities for operational wind and solar power projects, ensuring timely lease or rent payments and building strong relationships with landowners.
  • Maintain and update lease agreements, land titles, and possession documents for all project sites, tracking lease renewals and negotiating with landowners as needed.
  • Liaise with local authorities to manage land records, tax payments, and statutory obligations, supporting O&M teams by resolving issues related to access roads, transmission lines, and internal movement within the sites.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to land, such as encroachments, litigation, or non-compliance with local laws, ensuring compliance with zoning laws and environmental norms affecting land use.
  • Assist in audits and due diligence processes by providing updated land documentation and reports, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Legal, O&M, and Projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landowners and local communities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, along with a thorough understanding of local land regulations and zoning laws.
