As a seasoned professional in the field of customer relations, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and ensuring timely payments from clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in collections, team leading, and managing. You will be responsible for regularly contacting assigned customers via phone and email to build rapport and ensure minimum bad debt risk. Your goal-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines are essential qualities for this role.
Responsibilities:- Regular and prompt contact with assigned customers to build relationships and minimize bad debt risk
- Act in compliance with company policies, goals, and procedures related to collection activity and Accounts Receivable objectives
- Communicate with the Sales Department on past due accounts at specified intervals and inform sales representatives and management of changes in account status
- Meet defined department and individual goals along with assigned month-end reporting deadlines and activity metrics
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and company
- Provide high-quality customer service and manage clients with tact, firmness, and professionalism
- Relevant years of experience in collections
- Proven track record of success in team leading and managing
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quick learner and self-starter, capable of working collaboratively or independently
- Detail-oriented and ability to maintain accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, think critically, and solve problems
