Proposal Writer Job

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer with a strong background in US government RFPs to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing compliant, compelling, and well-structured proposals for US federal opportunities.

  • Review, interpret, and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
  • Write and edit proposal content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs.
  • Create and maintain compliance matrices and ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop winning proposals by leveraging expertise in US federal contracting and government RFPs.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal procurement regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
  • APMP certification or Shipley methodology training.
  • Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries (IT, staffing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, etc.).
  • Familiarity with proposal tools (Loopio, RFPIO, etc.).
