Director of Engineering and Solutions

This highly experienced professional will lead the development of impactful solutions by collaborating with sales leadership to drive business growth across the PubSec vertical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a collaborative culture among team members, fostering innovation and excellence.
  • Hire talent inclusively, nurture it, and invest in ongoing employee development and career progression.
  • Provide pre-sales support for sales activities, including account planning, pipeline progression, product demonstrations, and general sales assistance.
  • Extend expertise in solutions to other teams, demonstrating Salesforce technologies such as CRM, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, and Slack.
  • Leverage business acumen to drive process improvements and innovation within the Solutions and Sales organization.
  • Manage large and medium-scale projects/initiatives requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
  • Contribute to company-growth initiatives, including industry GTM strategy, training, marketing efforts, and customer care.
Requirements:
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required. Experience will be evaluated based on core proficiencies, extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.
  • 15+ years working in sales, pre-sales, or related functions in a commercial software company.
  • 10+ years exposure to the PubSec vertical across PSU's, Central Government, State government entities, Public Health, etc.
  • 5+ years with people management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
