Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events that align with our organizational objectives. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of event management, from conception to delivery, ensuring seamless experiences that meet the desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines for events.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to determine event objectives, themes, and requirements.
  • Source and manage venues, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.

Event Operations

  • Supervise on-site operations during events to guarantee quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the event.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage event budgets to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable deals.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance related to events.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels.
  • Create promotional materials such as brochures, social media posts, and invitations.
  • Track attendance and gather feedback for post-event analysis.

Post-Event Evaluation

  • Analyze event success and gather feedback from participants and stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Proven track record in planning and managing large-scale events.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
