Service Technician L2

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician L2 to join our team. This role requires advanced knowledge and experience in solving technology issues, hardware, software, networking and support, as well as service processes or procedures.

About the Role

This is a key position that oversees and coordinates service staff activities, provides assistance and training to other Service Technicians, and refers problems to more experienced technical staff or leadership.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate service staff activities
  • Provide assistance and training to other Service Technicians
  • Refer problems to more experienced technical staff or leadership
  • Provide basic through advanced training to Team Members
  • Analyze statistical information within the ITSM tool
  • Maintain ITSM KB of problems and resolutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert on primary support product lines
  • Seek and create opportunities of growth through automation, innovation, and process improvement
  • Assist IT leadership in developing departmental guidelines and operating procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
