Senior Leadership Position

Our organization seeks a talented Associate Director to lead our Global Business Tax Team in Mumbai.

This Senior Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of tax advisory services, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and delivery excellence.

About the Role
  • Supervise and manage all tax advisory engagements, utilizing technical expertise and analytical skills to deliver outstanding results.
  • Lead the delivery of tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters, showcasing innovative thinking and market trend awareness.
  • Take ownership of tax compliances, including filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings such as SFT.
  • Represent clients before tax authorities, demonstrating persuasive and influencing abilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs for managers and executives, enhancing professional development and creating a stronger bench within the team.
  • Deliver tax technology assets through licensing and/or internal managed services, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operate engagements, providing seamless service to clients.
  • Manage internal client codes from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Pursue business development opportunities actively and mine existing ones to drive growth and revenue, contributing to firm eminence programs and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements
  • CA - 8-10 years' experience in Direct Taxation, with a preferred background from Big 4 firms.
  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills, combined with innovative thinking and an eye for market trends.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and support professionals.
  • Time and cost management skills, with experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Mentorship skills for professionals, fostering growth and development within the organization.
