Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for preparing business forecasts and annual operating plans (AOPs) to achieve industry market share targets.

You will finalize targeted annual volumes and cascade them into monthly targets by geographic area, dealer, and product line. Monitoring and reviewing monthly volume target achievement will help identify focus areas and course corrections.

At month-end, you will review target feasibility and distribute readjustments if necessary. Suggesting opportunities for after-sales enhancements in terms of parts, labor, reach, and other factors will be a key part of your role.

Sharing product feedback with Product Marketing will enable the team to plan and achieve volume targets. Reviewing promotional activity budgets and calendars will also be an important responsibility.

Conceptualizing and initiating promotional activities and customer reach programs will be a key aspect of your job. Participating in large customer meets and events will also be required.

Regularly reviewing dealer performance through business reviews, evaluating gaps, and drawing trends will be essential. Seeking out opportunities to enhance volume sales and providing directions will also be a key part of your role.

Negotiating with dealers on promotional activity investments to enhance dealer investments will be a critical task. Building relations with dealers and proposing ideas for sales enhancement will also be important.

Facilitating business growth and objectives will require collaboration with finance teams. Building relations with financers for specific critical cases will also be necessary.

Reviewing average per-product incentive budget and its impact on dealer profitability will be a key consideration. Determining mechanisms for incentive distribution to enhance motivational value will also be essential.

Monitoring dealer fund rotation, bank guarantee requirements, and timely renewal of security will be a crucial responsibility. Discussing issues with dealers will also be necessary.
